WE READ THE LABEL SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO

gooberr has been baking in Singapore since 2019, and in all that time the rule has not moved once: if we would not want to explain an ingredient to you, it does not go in.

Most things sold to new mums are dressed up as healthy and then quietly padded out with artificial flavourings, preservatives and words you need a chemistry degree to pronounce. We got tired of turning packets over and squinting at the back. So we bake the other way round. We start with what we refuse to put in, and then we make it taste good anyway.

WHAT GOES IN

Oats, flaxseed and brewer's yeast, mother nature's galactagogues. Real Earl Grey leaves in the Earl Grey. Real lemon and real cranberries in the Lemon Cranberry. Decaf beans where the caffeine was taken out with water, never chemical solvents like methylene chloride. Whole ingredients you could picture growing somewhere. That is how far we go to keep the yuckies out.

WHAT STAYS OUT

Artificial flavourings, vanilla extract included (ick!). Eggs. Fenugreek. Preservatives. Anything we would feel weird explaining to you.

WHERE IT HAPPENS

Baked in small batches right here in Singapore in an SFA Grade A and FSSC certified facility, and heat-sealed the moment it leaves the oven so it reaches you fresh. 200g a pack, resealable, because nobody finishes a pack in one sitting. (Some of you do. No judgement.)

STILL THE SAME COOKIE

Thousands of orders later, nothing about how we bake has changed. Not the ingredient list, not the batch size, not the standard. New flavours turn up now and then, and they only make it onto the shelf when they can pass exactly the same test as the rest. Nutritious was never the marketing angle here. It was the whole point, and it still is.

WHY SO FUSSY ABOUT IT

Because you are feeding another human with your own body. That is not a moment for "probably fine". Every ingredient is a decision, and we would rather make the annoying, expensive one than the easy one. When we say no artificial B.S., we mean it. Every ingredient, every decision, deliberate.
